Scrapbooking layout using Prima's Rondelle collection papers

For this layout I chose patterned paper from Prima, I just love their papers but battle to find it. I have mentioned before that we live in a little town and we only have on scrapbooking/craft shop and they don't always stock Prima papers, so whenever we go into Johannesburg I go looking for papers, what usually happens though is I rarely find a full collection but never the less I can usually make a plan with what I am able to find.

I created this layout for a client, I only had 1 sheet of each of the papers so I decided to tear each of them in half diagonaly, I then glued them onto a plain piece of white cardstock. I tore and layered some more of the papers as well as some lace, a paper doiley and even a piece of the packaging that the flowers came in behind my photo mats. I curled pieces of satin ribbon around a paintbrush, wet it slightly and then heated it with my heatgun. I used flowers and these ribbons as accents on my page.
The flowers I used were from Prima's Bel Canto D Fleurs de Prima, just looooove them.
I also stamped some butterflys and doiley shapes onto vellum and heat embossed them, then cut them out and used them with the flower clusters. As usual I distressed and inked all the papers as well as the edges of the pages. I added splatters with diluted white gesso and also little droplets of liquid pearl in white and opal.I have added some close up photos so you can get a better look at what I have done.

Hope you are inspired by this layout, as usual please feel free to ask any questions you may have on the layout.
