The entire clock is a dark wood, so I covered some of it with some tea stained paper then sprayed the clock face with a brown mist, added tons of flowers another clock face from a wrist watch that broke a chipboard lamp post a few charms, and an old button. In the background I glued a crocheted doily you can just see a little of it sticking out at the bottom. I love bicycle images so had to add a chipboard one in too, and then lightly sprayed everything with butterscotch colour wash from Ranger.

Ok one last post for today, I just love clocks and have quite a few of them around the house (I really would like lots more but my hubby puts his foot down every now and then) any way when we moved here almost 8 years ago one of the first things I did was buy a little clock I just had to have. About a year or so ago it was dropped and the hands broke off, so true to my hording nature I just couldn't throw it away kept thinking that I would do something with it one day, well that day finally came and here's what I did with it, unfortunately I don't have a photo of what it looked like before I altered it.
This weekend I really didn't have alot of time to craft but I wanted to do something and I needed some flowers for a layout I was doing so decided to play around a bit so this is what I came up with.
On the left are some vintage flowers made with fabric and lace and then button centers, I followed a you tube video for these but for the life of me cant find it again to give you the link. In the middle are my version of lollipop flowers (these are what I ended up using on the layout will post a pic of the layout when I am done) and then finally some of my usual roses I make I was running low so made a few more to full up my bottle,

I recently created a baby album for my best friend whos expecting her bundel of joy soon.
Here are some pics.
I used the Simple stories bundel of Joy papers and then a few old papers from my stash that I had been hording. I covered the chipboard pages first with a pearly plain paper then added the printed papers. I made all the flowers for the album and just used loads of lace and pearls as well as a wooden owl which I sneaked off of the thank you favour's from the babyshower and added a flower to cover up the thank you on his tummy. I painted all the edges of the pages with gesso and then went over some spots with a pink pearl paint.
Had so much fun making the albumn now little Eunica must just arrive so we can fill the album with pics!

So here are some pictures of two wedding mini albums I made for a client.
The albums are made from chipboard and then covered with patterned papers.
The first one (sorry the pics got all muddeled when I downloaded them) is in royal blue and yellow, I made quite a few pockets and pull outs for this album as I wanted it to have more place for photos.
The second album was supposed to be in peacock colours but as I have mentioned before I live in a small town and finding specific papers can be a problem. So I opted for a white cracked wood paper (keiser craft) for the background pages and then used the purple and dark torquoise papers as accents I think it worked well and the client was impressed. I made most of the flowers myself using one of JJShowers utube tutorials and added lots of lace and pearls and vines etc.
I must say I enjoyed the second album the most I just loved the colours which makes it so much easier to work with.
If there is anything specific you would like to know about the albums leave me a comment.

I recently completed an album for a client of their family trip to Mauritus, heres one of the layouts that I just love! I want to do a similar layout for myself of our trip to Mozambique.
I used real shells that I have been collecting for awhile now, some paper tearing and rolling (that took forever) I used a mixture of papers some bo bunny, graphic 45 and keiser craft, I tore and chalked some cork too and put it behind the shells.
Some bazzills for photo mats and its complete

Hi there, just wanted to share with you a quick project I completed last week. I saw this awhile back on Pinterest and have been dying to make one for myself. So (much to my husbands disgust) I have been saving all our tuna tins until I finally got a chance to make one last week. I like how it turned out and now of course I have a hundred new ideas for them.
(sorry guys cant figure out how to rotate that last photo)
Ok so I covered the outside as well as the inside of the tuna tin with patterned paper.
I also painted the inside of the tin first with gesso then with brown paint.
I cut two brown scalloped circles and another plain circle. I hot glued one circle to the bottom of the tin then added a piece of ribbon from the inside of the tin to the 'inside' of the other brown scalloped circle making a 'lid' for the tin.
I then glued the circle to the 'lid' added some hand made flowers a metal butterfly and some pearls to the lid. I then added a brad to the lid and wound a piece of brown cord with some beads on the end around the brad to make a closure.
And heres what the inside of the 'trinket box' looks like.
I added a brad to the inside of the lid to hold the ribbon down.
Got to say this was one of the quickest projects I have completed in awhile and I love how it turned out. There are so many uses for it too, it would be a lovely gift with a little something cute inside. I was thinking of making another one with a mini albumn inside.

My son left yesterday to go and work/study in the UK, so I made him a little canvas to put on his desk, I used a 10 x 10 cm canvass for this project and there,s not really too much you can do on such a small amount of space especially when you want to include a photo and a message.
I painted the canvass with a brown fabric paint as I like the 'washed' effect the fabric paint gives. Then I made a small coin envelope from some book paper and printed a message onto craft cardstock chalked all the edges of course then glued it to the canvass. Next I cut a strip of Bo bunnys printed paper that has rulers on it and a strip of paper that looks like weathered wood (keiser craft paper), I stamped the negatives onto a transparency and cut it out. Then just glued everything down added a few embellishments and that was it, took me a little while to do it as I kept having to stop for a cry every few minutes - lol!

Baby girl front page
I recently completed a baby albumn for someone and this was the front page for the albumn, I love how this page turned out and it was so much fun putting it together.
I used a variety of products on this page, The Love bingo card is from the simple stories lullabye range, I also used some Prima papers (cant recall the range but there were fairies on the paper)
For the embellishments I used some prima flowers and a prima zip that says love on it. I made the frames myself with the martha stewart silicone moulds and her foam clay then just painted them with a pearl paint, also added lots of pearls(one of my staples on most girly layouts) and that was it.

A little about me
My name is Jeanine, I live in South Africa. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 20 years and we have 2 beautiful children (well I think they are beautiful anyway). I love all most any type of crafting but scrapbooking is my passion.
I will be posting scrapbook layouts as well as other projects I have been working on.
I am not the most computer literate person in the world but I will try to keep updated with pics and tutorials on what I am up to. Hope you enjoy it
